Ability to select API Tester Application in testing Change or Validation Activity

Integrate functionality to allow the user to select a third-party API testing application (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, etc.) in the Test tab of a Change Activity to test business rules. Selecting an API testing application will automatically create a REST service and provide the user with the ability to download a sample XML input file, enter test data, upload one or more XML files and submit them to the REST service. Additional setup includes the test assertions that are to be applied to the REST service so that a graphical response is displayed.

Thank you for entering this Idea. While this Idea is interesting, I must say that it's unlikely to be considered for implementation during the coming 6-12 months, as there are other priorities for Decision Center.

Some aspects of your Idea already exists: automatic creation of a REST service after deploying a ruleset to Rule Execution Server. Side note: we now recommend to use REST + JSON (not XML)

That being said, one area of improvement we'd like to consider is the addition of a "Run" feature to execute a ruleset, so that a suer can quickly and manually see if it produces the expected outcome.
