Add Single sign-on (SSO) and OAuth parity in CP4BA as it is in traditional IBM BAW

Customers who rely on external Identity providers would not be able to easily migrate from IBM BAW to CP4BA as a lot of features are outright missing from CP4BA but are present in IBM BAW. For example: there is no way to use Foundational IAM to register 3rd party application as an OIDC client, only IDPV3 is supported in CP4BA.

When connecting to an OIDC provider using https://www.ibm.com /docs/en/cpfs?topic=apis-identity-provider#register-client-oidc, the discovery URL is mandatory and no way to customize it.

Configuring a default auth mechanism and skip the selection page on a URL basis is not possible.

Thanks you for submitting your idea . For OIDC client registration, please see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/foundational-services/4.4?topic=apis-oidc-registration

Regarding "Configuring a default auth mechanism and skip the selection page on a URL basis is not possible.", if SAML/OIDC is the only login option, we redirect the user to the login page directly. This is supported today.
Could you please provide more details around what kind of customization you want for discovery URL ?
